Nextcloud is an open source, self-hosted file share and communication platform. Access & sync your files, contacts, calendars & communicate and collaborate across your devices. You decide what happens with your data, where it is and who can access it! I have started to use NextCloud tasks as my personal ToDo list, however, I prefer to not be logged into the browser app all the time. Does anyone here know if there is an app for Windows and Linux (does not have to be the same app) that can sync to NextCloud tasks? Preferably open-source of-course. Please don’t suggest Thunderbird, I’m using Tutanota as my email provider. There is already work done on a sucessor called Nextnote. If you know Markdown, you can use the Notes app and Qownnotes on the desktop. There is also an Android companion app for this one available. For a todo list, Tasks works pretty well.
Tasks is great, except it isn’t possible to get started quickly because there is no way to add a lot of tasks quickly.
I think it would be great if pasting a multi-line text into the task input would create a task for each line. My life would be better
e.g I have a text list that I want to turn into tasks. Can’t be done as far as I can tell after many hours testing.
Nextcloud To Do List
I can turn a text list into tasks through Google Tasks, but I can’t move that into Nextcloud tasks (no export, no sync).
Nextcloud Todo
csv imports don’t seem to work through thunderbird for tasks. Every other option would require logins or other non-privacy methods.
I am aware that Nested tasks will break when edited in outlook, thunderbird does not support nested tasks either
