From the prompted dialog box, select how you want your new password to appear. Click the 'Copy' button within the 1Password generator window and paste it onto the password field on the website. Now click the respective button to sign in into your account. 1Password will then prompt you to save your sign in credentials. Simply click 'Save Login' and your newly created password will be saved.

Safari

First, make sure 1Password is turned on in Safari. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click the Extensions icon and turn on 1Password.

To add the 1Password icon to the toolbar in Safari:

  1. Choose View > Customize Toolbar.
  2. Drag the 1Password button to the toolbar. If you don’t see the button, restart your Mac and try again.
  3. Click Done.

Chrome

First, make sure 1Password is turned on in Chrome. Click the Chrome menu in the toolbar and choose More Tools > Extensions. Then click to turn on 1Password.

Firefox
